What YTMP4 is
YTMP4 turns a YouTube link into an MP4 or MP3 file. Paste the link and pick a format and quality. The file downloads straight from the browser, no account, no software, no extra steps.
Why it exists
YTMP4 exists to turn a YouTube link into a file you can keep, without a signup form or a bundled app getting in the way. That covers a video saved for a flight with no signal just as well as audio pulled from a song or a podcast.
How it works
Paste a YouTube link into the box on the homepage. YTMP4 reads the video and lists whatever formats and resolutions it actually has. Pick one, and the file downloads. Downloading finishes on the same page, no redirect to another site.
What YTMP4 skips
No account system, no browser extension, no app to install, and no premium tier hiding a resolution behind a paywall. Nothing about what you convert gets tied to a profile, since none exists.
Using it responsibly
Downloading a video you own, or one you have clear permission to use, is the safe case. Whether anything else is allowed depends on copyright law and YouTube's own Terms of Service. When in doubt, don't download it.
YTMP4 is not affiliated with YouTube or Google, nor with any creator whose videos get converted here.
